an amazing god

looking back on it....
there is something i need to say,
that maybe i have neglected to say here in a while.
god is amazing.
like, really amazing.
in experiencing every sort of trial,
he is there....
i have never loved anyone more.
i find myself more and more simply falling to my knees before him.
i've run out of words...and just sit there....
awestruck....humbled....encouraged....inspired.
i don't understand him at all
but I do feel his love...
his presence...
his gentleness, kindness, and rebuke.
and i know...
i would live it all over again...
if I could be perfect I would...
but I know I would be willing
to be broken a thousand times over....
just to feel the way I feel when he is near.
life isn't worth it-
but he is.
in every way.
